Our Work

Our Mission

Our Mission is to increase the number of women entering and progressing into Leadership positions within FTSE 100 businesses. To achieve this we:

  • Deliver bespoke programmes that include mentoring, insight experiences and summer programmes to connect women with leaders in FTSE 100 businesses in order for them to be able to gain an insight and understanding on how to succeed in competitive sectors and to develop the necessary skills.
  • Deliver quarterly panel Q & A events connecting women with leaders in male dominated sectors that include financial services, business, law, music, STEM (Science, technology, engineering & maths) and media in an informal and relaxed environment, sharing knowledge and providing networking opportunities
  • Deliver summer business schools, festivals and masterclasses for women in the UK to develop their skills
  • Providing a tied membership model for FTSE 100 businesses to commit to addressing gender equality within their business and wider sector
Our Story

Girls Talk London was set up in 2013 by Vanessa Sanyauke to address the lack of women entering male dominated sectors and progressing into leadership positions. To date we have supported over 1,000 women through connecting them with Senior leaders in global businesses.

Our first event was held at The Museum of London on the 24th January 2013 and brought together five Senior women with young women in a Q & A panel event. Since then we have held events at The Bank of England, The Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Red Bull Music Studios, Teach First, Google Campus, Gowling WLG & Allen and Overy.

To date we have worked with twenty-two FTSE 100 businesses across all our services that include bespoke programmes, events, business schools and masterclasses.
